New 105,000-sf luxury resort hotel, with 105 guest rooms, spa, swimming pools, and recreational amenities. Constantine Engineering provided fire protection, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical design as well as construction administration. Systems included cooling tower, boilers, with condenser water distribution system, water source heat pumps, dedicated outside air systems, LED lighting throughout, etc. The project is LEED certified and the energy savings in the first year are 42% improvement efficiency over comparable hotels.

Taco Boy, Nexton

This project involved 5,400 square-feet of new restaurant and bar space in the ever-growing community of Nexton, located in Summerville, South Carolina. This is the third, and largest, Taco Boy within the Charleston community to date. The space also boasts a 1,500 square-foot greenhouse patio available for indoor/outdoor dining year-round.

Constantine Engineering Associates provided the Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Alarm and Fire Protection engineering design services for the space.

The Fish House Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina

This project involved the construction of a new restaurant and yacht harbor building near the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina complex. The new facility is approximately 17,000-sq ft total and is located at 32 Patriots Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC.

Constantine Engineering provided mechanical, plumbing, prescriptive fire protection, and electrical engineering design services.

Craven Cottage

This project involved the design for the Beaufort Inn located in the Historic District of Beaufort, SC. The main inn was built in 1897 by state legislator Smith Wallace.

The building is approximately 3,300-sq. ft and was designed to house twelve hotel rooms. The design required that it have a residential appearance and historic aesthetic due to its location.

Constantine Engineering provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design services through construction documents, and the construction phase.

Tempest, a beautiful up-scale seafood restaurant, is located in downtown Charleston across from the Market.  Special attention was taken with the sophisticated atmosphere and incredible mural displayed on the ceiling on the first-floor bar and dining area.  The second floor features a second dining room overlooking the Market and a top-of-the-line commercial kitchen.

 CEA services included Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering design through the Construction Phase.

This project involved the design for a new 150-room, 5-story hotel, constructed in the West Ashley area of Charleston SC, with the designs per the Hilton prototype.   The Home2 hotels are designed to feel like a home away from home, emphasizing comfort and flexibility for budget-conscious business and leisure travelers.  The hotel will feature an extensive array of amenities, standard in all Home2 Suites, with easy access to technology and inviting community spaces.

 Constantine Engineering provided prescriptive fire protection (sprinkler and alarm), plumbing, mechanical, and electrical engineering design including the generator design.
