Buckwalter Regional Park and Recreation Center
Bluffton, South Carolina

Phase I – This project was for the construction a new regional community recreational center located in Beaufort County, SC. The 35,000-sq. ft. facility was comprised of administrative offices, gymnasiums, multi-purpose rooms, multi-purpose courts including racquetball, handball, squash, weight and exercise rooms, lounge, locker rooms, restrooms, and outdoor facilities. The scope of the engineering work included mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design services.

Phase II This project was for an expansion that doubled the size of the recreation center, which included new weight room, indoor batting cages, and racquetball courts, two full-size basketball courts with sky tracks, multipurpose rooms, equipment storage and common areas. Engineering design included mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, and electrical services.

Construction Administration services were included in both project phases.

Pavilion at the Bend
North Charleston, SC

The Pavilion at the Bend is a new 2,000-capacity outdoor events venue in North Charleston. Constantine Engineering Associates provided Electrical Engineering Design Services.

City of Hanahan Recreation Department
Outdoor Amphitheater

Hanahan, SC

The City of Hanahan Amphitheater is located in the City Park overlooking Goose Creek Reservoir. Events are hosted year-round. This project involves the electrical design for providing three-phase power to the outdoor Amphitheater pavilion.

Sandcastle Community Center
Kiawah Island, SC

This project involved the design for renovations to the Sandcastle Community Center on Kiawah Island. The renovation involves increasing the size of an existing fitness area, modifying an existing kitchen, adding a pool, and adding a bar under an existing porch area.

Constantine Engineering provided plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and fire sprinkler engineering design and drafting services.
