South Battery, Charleston, SC
This project involved the HVAC design for an existing historic residence in downtown Charleston, SC (c. 1934). The home consists of four levels: Garden, First Floor, Second Floor, and Third Floor. Cooling and heating were provided by ducted split system heat pumps individually servicing each level. The Owner wished to replace the existing equipment and air distribution system as needed with a new HVAC system. CEA provided mechanical and electrical engineering design services.
